Joshua Morley, Akkodis Group AI Officer, outlined the rapid evolution of AI over recent years, describing three key waves of transformation. The first wave saw the rise of image generation tools like DALL·E, followed by the second wave in late 2022 when ChatGPT’s rapid adoption drove an enterprise rush. The third wave introduced AI agents—pre-trained models able to use tools, perform searches, and write code—which has now evolved into agentic systems, where multiple specialized agents collaborate under a controller to complete complex tasks. Morley emphasized that this latest phase moves beyond simple language interaction to actively actioning insights, paving the way for greater value creation.

Backed by Microsoft and built on the Azure platform, Söze is a data analytics platform that enables police investigators to rapidly integrate and visualize vast amount of data from multiple sources and devices.​

With Söze, investigations can be completed in a fraction of the time, with investigators being able complete 24 months of analysis in 6 months in one case. ​

By breaking down language barriers in Aboriginal communities in Western Australia, the Yarning mobile app helped foster better interactions between these communities and Western Australian Police Force (WAPF) officers.
